
Liz was born in Dallas, Texas and has lived in the DFW area for most of her life. In 2004, she graduated from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor with her Bachelor's Degree in nursing. She moved to Austin, TX where she worked in a busy labor and delivery unit for about 7 years. In 2011, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati with her Master's in nursing and became a board-certified nurse midwife.
Liz and her husband Scott have two beautiful children, Mackenzie and Garrett. She and her family attend First Baptist Church in Grapevine. Liz enjoys knitting, shopping, and spending time with her family.
"I believe midwifery is about empowerment and advocacy for women. Women should be given options for birth and the resources and power to have the experience that they desire. I feel a great honor and pride for being invited into a woman's journey through her lifespan, especially the transition from womanhood to motherhood."
